Ever wonder what someone is thinking about you? Weather you’re at the store, the gym, about to post something on social media. Have you ever second guessed yourself because of what someone else might think or say? Have those thoughts ever stopped you from doing something you really wanted to do or needed to do? Something you really wanted to try, or a goal you wanted to achieve.

Maybe you want to run a marathon, or get in the best shape of your life. Maybe you want to start a business, or write a book. There might be some big goal you’ve been wanting to achieve, but you’re afraid to start because you’re too busy wondering what others are gonna say or think about you. You’re too busy worried about someone else’s opinion on weather you can achieve your dream, work on your goal, or publish that post.

Too many times we waste our gifts, talents, and are too afraid to try because we fearful of being judged. Let me tell you something guys, if you’ve been wanting to get in better shape; You know it’s gonna take time, you know it’s gonna take trail and error, you know there are gonna be moments when you feel like quitting; There are gonna be moments when your commitment escapes you. Those moments are expected, and I get it; When those moments come it’s hard to get up and push forward. Maybe that’s what you’re worried about, the moments when the failure arrive, and you’re afraid of what people will think or say about you when you miss a workout day. I know I’m focusing a lot on fitness right now, but that’s what coming through my heart and I hope you can relate in some way.

Here’s the thing though, other people’s opinions are not your problem. The truth is you have no idea what their thinking, no idea what they’re feeling. Unless they say it right to your face, it’s just hypothetical, and even if they do say it; Are you going to let that stop you from going after your goal? Are you going to let that stop you from starting your business? Are you going to let that stop you from getting in the best shape of your life?

Most people are mean and cruel because of envy, their jealous of what you’re doing because they want to do it. So don’t make someones opinion your excuse. Don’t make someones hypothetical judgment put you down. I’m twenty five years old right now, and up until I was twenty four; I used everyone else as an excuse for not putting in the work. I used everyone else as an excuse for choosing lazziness and doing nothing. It was everyone’s fault that I was sad, depressed, and unaware of my purpose. It was everyone’s fault that I wasn’t happy and quitting on everything I set out to do. When in reality, it was all in my head.

At the end of the day, it is possible that someone might be judging you for working out. Someone might be judging for not being able to run a mile or lift fifty pounds. That person could either be in better shape than you or in worse shape. It is possible they could have negative opinions about you, but so what? It doesn’t matter. Stop using other people’s opinions as an excuse to failing and quitting on your dreams. Take responsibility, enjoy your life, tackle your goals; Each and every day you show up to put in the work will have great results in the long run.

Dreams don’t come true in a single day, goals aren’t achieved in a single day, an overnight success is years of hard work filled with failure, set backs and thriving adversity. So whatever it is you’ve been wanting to do or are doing, keep putting in the work and don’t use other people as an excuse. Listen guys, I’m not trying to judge you, ‘m not better than you, not better than anybody else, I’m just being real with myself. This message speaks to me too, and I’ve got a lot to work on for my own self growth.

Thank you for reading all the way through this guys. If this post impacted you in any positive way please leave a like, comment, and follow the blog for some more motivational content with real personal perspective.
